In 1994 driver Jim Yates celebrated his first career NHRA Pro Stock victory at Brainard, MN. in his Dynomax Pontiac Firebird. Just weeks before, I made arrangements with Jim & Toni to produce Flight at Phoenix. I knew a winner when I saw one and Jim proved me right. The title depicts a classic night time burnout at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix where Jim delivered a 7.15 ET. at 192 mph. You can sense the excitement as the sleek blue Pontiac emerges from the shadows of the bleachbox, melting the hides on the huge Goodyear slicks.
